County fair kit fun!

Yay! These are the 7 layouts :)
Made mainly fromt he studio calico country fair kit

*pls click on the photo for a clearer view of the layouts :D *

Love the simplicity of this layout
3 pieces of 4x6 photos already cover up half of the 12x12 paper
I only need to decorate the remaining half :)

Here i used some martha stewart butterfly punch
and fiskars scallop punch

This layout is scraplifted from Shimelle's layout
you can take a look over here
I think she has done an amazing job !

Love this polaroid camera from the Lawn Fawn stamp set
I stamped it on some kraft cardstocks
and colour it with distress markers :)

This stamp is from technique tuesday .
Love the inspirational word stamps

Werent too satisfied with the results for this layout
but well at least i tried :)

This layout is done following the 4x6 photo love free class by Shimelle at twopeas
It allows us to scrapbook 7 photos all in out layout
Check out the class here
And the landscape photo option method is taught by Julie
Check out her layout here

Love this layout:)
Have you watched the recent glitter girl adventure?
it's about using up your sticker stash
I followed glitter girl's advice and came up with this
Instead of 2.5 inches square, i thought it would be nice to try 2inches ones
And it turn out it can put 8 photos into one LO!
great!

I used stickers from crate paper, october afternoon and gypsies

Another try
cos i fall in love with the process:)

This time i also uses sticker book from american craft
like the dear lizzy and amy tangerine collection

very fun! love the flim strip from crate

lastly
i used some cheese deep edge punch by EK success :)

And the polaroid stamp from LF
another try, i stamp on white cardstocks this time

Because this is a large project
I have another , say 150 photo to scrap?
gosh, and i have to complete them before 9th july!
how possible!?

Anyway, I 'm also planning some scrapbook classes in the mean time
for those who are interested, feel free to email me to chat with me about the classes :)

Thanks for stopping by and see you soon!

~~ Happy with the results!

Yay! These are the results
I have altogether
- 1 double page spread
- 7 single page layout
- 2 cards(forgot to take pictures ><)

And here goes :)

This is my first time trying to make a double page spread
not too bad
but because i dont have enough landscape photos on hands
maybe changing the portrait photo to a landscape one will be better :D

Trying a clean and simple one
saw some gallery photos at SC
many scrappers also use this backgrd sheet to create sort of a starbust feeling
i use mainly the boarder stickers
also some scrap stripes of pattern paper with
American crafts knock out boarder punch
and yay! I love how this look :D

Used some of the lines as journaling lines too
splatter some mister huey white gray and dewey colour

This die cut piece is really cool
Docking Maneuver from October Afternoon
I tear off some of the numbers like coupon
and back it with a black cardstock
added some SC wood veeners

This layout have no journaling yet
waiting for the boy to do so :D

Love the Technique tuesday sentiments stamps

I'm not a fan of coloured cardstocks
I usually use cream, grey, black, white and mostly kraft
i think this is my first try with a blue cardstock

I think i'm loving the scattering of  the wood veneer stars on layouts and cards recently
i think it give dimension and details to the layyout

Here i also used the heidi swapp colour magic alpha stickers
cool right? I can use one set to create 3 shades of colour
just by running some distress ink over it :D

I mean , i just love this class so much
it allows me to scrap many photos into one layout ,
quick and easy :)
Especially when i have a huge project deatline to meet :)

As you can see, i love polaroid haha
and as i dont have sewing machine
i think adding twines across the alpha stickers is a good way to add a little touch to projects :)
twines are then secured by brads

My favourite layout in this stack :)
And favourite photo too
It's taken at new zealand at lake tekapo :)
beautiful sky isnt it ?

I trim the journaling card from Smash
and added a sentiment stamp from the MME set
also a boarder stamp at the top
Customising journaling tag like this is a great way to personalise your own embellishment :D

oh i so love the flimstrip stamp!
And the date stamp from Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection

That's all for now !
I will come back with a second batch of "creative stash diving"
I'm so enjoying this process :)

Creative stash diving with Studio calico kit!

I recently got a chance to take part in this workshop by Shimelle laine
This workshop is now available here

And here is my honest process of how i apply it into my scrapbooking :)

Here is the supplies I have chosen
and i'm going to make as many layouts as i can using these

and added a few kraft and white cardstocks

 Here are the pattern papers

And the flipped side

I added the Heidi swapp color magic alpha stickers
(i love it! it's perfect for me because i can customise whatever color i want them to be !)

I also added the tim holtz tickets
and some SC wood veneers

I chosen 2 sets of stamps
one from MME
one from technique tuesday

Also i have chosen 3 rolls of washi tapes
5bottles of mister huey
and 2 colours twines (grey and baby blue)

I will come back soon with the results :D
