October Layout A Day (LOAD) - Day 15

This layout is inspired by Amy Tan (a.k.a Amy Tangerine)

After scrapping a bunch of layouts, I have tons of 1 to half inch strips of papers left behind

from branding strip and off cuts

I added some enamel dots of the same tone of colors to the layout

to create dimension :)

Love how it turns out :)

Things I tried for this layout

I used an american craft boarder punch to add some dimension to the edge of the layout

Love the triangle wood veneer

Playing with some mixed media this time :)

some gesso mixed with pink ink

I used a silhouette cut mask for this layout 

with lots of butterfly

*the cut is obtained from Wilna's Art Class from Twopeasinabucket*

I apply the gesso to create an ombre effect

I added some splatter of paints to add colours

I have not thought of what journaling to add

hence i add a tag behind the photo 

so whenever I know what i want to write, i can add into the layout :)

moreover, i want the journaling to he hid away :)

Using a silhouette die cut stencil 

and gesso to make the butterfly background

Mist using Crafters workshop stencil

and then stitch around the hexagons with a white embroidery floss
