LOAD214 - Wrap up Part 2

Hello! How is your Saturday ? Today there is a Paper Feast at PaperMarket (a scrapbook shop in singapore ) which I totally missed due to work. Oh well. I guess i better spend time scrapbooking then scrapbook shopping! What do you say?

I shared the first half of my LOAD challenge last week Here

As things get busier , my full 12x12 layout and all the artsy stuff are gone. The next 2 weeks of my LOAD adventure consist of pocket style scrapbooking. Here are the layouts :)

Pocket Pages that goes into my New Zealand travel Album

Pages for my Project Life Album

Pages that goes into my Relationship Journal

I'm glad I completed some weekly spreads in project life, some pocket pages for my New Zealand album(click here for my first NZ album ) and also some journaling pages for my Relationship Journal.

There is also LOAD challenge in May this year. If you're interested , sign up quick! I have already signed myself up!

Thanks for stopping by!

LOAD 214 - Late wrap up Part 1

I join Lain Ehman in February with 400 other ladies this year, scrapbooking one layout a day!I managed to plough through the entire month and crank out more than 28 pages! I didn't do all 12x12 , instead I do smaller size in the busier days, for example i di the 6x8 handbook journal in some days, and I also try to complete my One Little Word (OLW) album taught by Ali Edwards  (This class is awesome! You can still join it now!) I also do some Project Life pages . (If you are not sure about Project Life, check out Becky Higgins Website here! )

So here are the layouts I created in the first 2 weeks (still creating mainly 12x12 traditional layout )

Thank you for stopping by :)

This is Me @ 23

Hello all

Previously I took the Art Class by Wilna Furstenberg at Twopeas
So I tried a bunch of mixed media methods and techniques

Sharing a layout I did for myself this year
This layout is inspired again by Wilna

Using the Prima triangle stencil
and some gesso , I love the subtle triangle background

Layering some American Crafts ribbon
Love the gold ribbon alot :)

A detailed shot of the triangle background

Also love the Heidi Swapp plastic letters

Sunshine :)

Hello!
It has been awhile since I last updated the blog

This is a layout i made some time ago
I really like it !
It's a technique taught by Wilna Furstenberg using a studio calico kit :)
You can find the technique here
I also shared another layout previously using this technique

love he texture and layers :)

This is my favourite technique recently. A row or column of layered butterflies!
(I previously shared another layout using this technique )

I punched alot of butterflies using the Martha Steward punch using some pattern paper scraps and Vellum. I then layer the vellum butterfly to some of the pattern paper butterfly. Here i used glue dots as I run out of staplets . Otherwise, i think the effect will be even better if you stapler the vellum butterfly to the pattern paper ones. You can also curl up the vellum butterfly for some 3D effect :) Try it!

Goodbye & Seeya

Hello! I'm back to share another page I made recently :) This page is inspired by Wilna Furstenberg  from a video she did for Studio Calico kits :)

Using the stencil from Studio Calico, gesso and some black mist I'm able to create this background :) Love the texture and the outline

I have also printed some photos via this company OrigramiWhat's cool is that they is connected with Instagram and it prints the photo infront and the map behind! How awesome :) It is originated from Australia and ships free worldwide Check it out !

Thanks for stopping by! Till then! :D
